Greetings,
Well, the year 2012 is finally here. And many people around the world think it will be the most decisive and definitive mankind has ever known or seen. It has mystical, even magical, properties to those who think the “end of the world” as we know it, will be realized by December 21st as a galactic alignment with the Sun takes place. The calendar of the ancient Mayan civilization is capturing the attention and hearts of people everywhere. From what I have read about all of this it seems the Mayans believed the 21st of December will be the end of a cycle or age and the beginning of a new one. Apparently these ancient people, who also worshipped the Sun as God to whom they offered up human blood sacrifices, left out specific details of what would happen when the end came.
Because of this omission or lack of clarity and specificity, wild speculation with many “end time” doomsday scenarios have been developed over the years by scholars who attempted to interpret the Mayan hieroglyphs. Some modern inventors and sensationalists filled in the blanks by predicting a cataclysmic end of the world with a reconfiguring of the continents, with few humans surviving the earthquakes and deluge of water. Others suggested the end will come by a combination of massive earthquakes and a nuclear World War III. Major money-making movies have been produced based on all of this, in addition to the expected merchandisers and survivalists who are out to make a buck off of the fears generated by their doomsday prophecy.
Still other speculators of this mysterious Mayan calendar, who are devoted followers of the New Age philosophy, say the “end” will come, not violently, but peacefully, because before December 21st arrives men will see the errors of their way that are causing the self destruction of the earth itself. These are the people who believe that Mother Earth is a living entity. I know this sounds strange or weird to the ears of many of my friends, but you should know there are countless New Age followers who actually worship, besides themselves, “ascended masters” who they say are aliens from other worlds who are giving man one last chance to change his ways or they will destroy mankind and start over.
These New Agers have great hope that the “light” of the coming “New Beginning or Golden Age” will avert “dark” disaster by overwhelming and overcoming the political and religious leaders among all nations; who will then make peace beginning in the Middle East with a “Peace Covenant” for Jerusalem that will allow for the rebuilding of the Jewish Temple right next to the Dome of the Rock Mosque. Imagine that, a covenant that brings together Jews, Christians, and Muslims in a new Golden Age. With all of the inherent hatred and mistrust among all of these people, causing great destruction and death for centuries, this appears to be a mission impossible, wouldn’t you agree?
I hesitated in writing this article for fear of my friends veering off onto an endless rabbit trail of confusion and distortion surrounding this Mayan foolishness. But the Mayan/New Age movement seems to be gathering strength and respectability around the world, including many professing Christians who have tapped into the New Age delusion of being “little gods” who must take dominion over the governments and institutions of all nations, by force of arms if necessary. Therefore, I will add some speculation and questions of my own.
I find it extremely interesting that America’s Presidential election takes place just weeks before this Mayan day of reckoning. And the “economy” of America and its global impact is first and foremost in the hearts and minds of people is it not? Will this year’s presidential political debate center upon how America participates among the United Nations to establish this so-called Golden Age of global peace and economic prosperity?
I doubt that Obama or his Republican opponent will actually talk about this Mayan calendar out in the open for fear of ridicule, but the elitist movers and shakers behind the scenes know and have planned, for some time now, to bring the nations to a point of decision where they are forced to establish “order out chaos”. And many of these elitist leaders, whether they are complicit in this Mayan stuff or not, will not hesitate in provoking and stoking the fears of a nuclear World War III in order to establish a new world order based on freedoms that are inherent in the democratic political system. This has been the declared goal of the United Nations organization since its inception following World War II. I suspect these elitists and their fallen angel masters are only using this “democratic freedom” platform to initially attract the masses of people, but once they have things lined up as planned they will bring forth their “Messiah” who will establish his theocratic rule in Jerusalem.
Will 2012 bring forth another Middle East war that could likely escalate into World War III and the end of the world? While I am not sure, many of my friends say yes according to the prophecies found in Psalms 83. Another war or not, will 2012 also see the end to wars as the Antichrist peacemaker, claiming to be a Christian, stands up calling for the establishment of the democratic Kingdom on earth in order to avoid the catastrophic end of the world that mankind has now been prepared to think was coming upon them?
This declaration of the Antichrist and his ability to bring Christians, Jews, and Muslims together to sign a Temple building Peace Covenant will mesmerize and seduce most in Christendom (those who have not repented of and departed from their sin nature) to believe in him, some even suggesting he might be the Messiah. This signing of the Covenant will bring a unity and a “new beginning” among men that has never been seen before, as the nations bask in the peace and prosperity provided by this great man they perceive has come from God. It is the calm before the storm of God’s wrath, just as Paul taught the Thessalonians:

As I have said over and over again, no man knows the day or hour of our Lord’s return “in the air” to recall his Ambassadors (all born again believers) from the nations which is followed by God’s judgment, known as Daniel’s 70th week, Daniel 9:27. So please don’t misread or twist my words thinking that I am date-setting like some confused Christians have done for generations. But this much is true, every year since the resurrection and ascension of our Lord, born again Christians have rightfully proclaimed “this could be the year of our Savior’s return to judge the nations”.
What would indeed be stunning is if unprecedented and enormous earthquakes, volcanoes, hurricanes, tidal waves, perhaps even an asteroid hitting earth, were to occur during the course of 2012 that would shift the political discussion to the prophecies of ancient cultures, Nostradamus, Freemasons, and the like, which can be seen almost everyday on cable television. What if Mary, the Catholic’s Queen of Heaven, made another spectacular and more public appearance, calling the world to unite and follow her and her Son?
How do you think President Obama, Romney, Perry, Gingrich, and others would position themselves in light of such momentous events, especially at a time when the Arab spring of uprisings appears to be morphing into a declaration for a holy and just war against the Jews of Israel? Yes, like Western civilization’s Christian “just wars”, Islam has no trouble saying that Allah demands them to execute justice, as they falsely accuse and blame the Jewish people for all of their troubles. Will these politicians hear the world’s intensifying cry for peace and safety and convince Islamic nations to make peace rather than violent jihad? Remember, the elitists and fallen angels rule both sides of any conflict among men and nations, and work from an “order out of chaos” mindset ultimately designed to seduce all of us into following their Messiah instead of the returning Lord Jesus Christ. That is the bottom-line my friends.
The last few years of my life have been a tremendous blessing as I have come to know many fellow American military veterans who have been awakened by the Spirit of God. This is especially true among those of us who served in the Vietnam War that changed our lives and America so dramatically. Many of us who served honorably in that war, even in ignorance of the scriptures and prophecies, now see more clearly how our Lord Jesus Christ views war among nations. For it is our Lord who said that because of warmongering leaders in the last days, “there shall be wars and rumors of wars, see that your hearts be not troubled”, and who also said to the leaders of the Gentile Roman Empire ruling over Jerusalem “my kingdom is not of this world…if it were my servants would fight”, Matthew 24:4-8, John 18:33-37.
Let me repeat and be clear here, we who follow the Lord and his nonviolent teachings until the second coming are no longer proud militant patriots. We are definitely not extreme pacifists who refuse to proclaim Christian participation in the great violence and bloodshed against the Lord’s enemies at his second coming. So what are? We are pilgrim ambassadors in this world of nations looking and longing for the return of our Savior.
We former soldiers have been awakened to the truth that Satan and his fallen angels are the ones who really rule over the elitist movers and shakers in America’s political-religious circles, including both the left and right wing of the American Eagle. Obviously, these same fallen angels rule over the Mayan fanatics and the New Age UFO worshippers who have grafted themselves to the various December 21st doomsday scenarios. We know that all of these foolish prophecies are nothing more than twisted versions of true prophetic teachings found in the Bible. Furthermore, we former soldiers of carnal political wars have concluded, because of this fundamental truth that all nations are being manipulated by the fallen angels, that man’s only hope is in the shed blood, glorious resurrection, and bodily return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
As we were trained to be single-minded with the sole purpose of defending and destroying the enemies of America when wearing the American uniform, we are now even more focused on defending the true gospel message, and destroying the works of the fallen angels who hate our Lord. We now know the truth that America, like Babylon of old, has fallen and become, from sea to shining sea, a cage of filthy religious-political birds, that Jesus will destroy in the brightness of his second coming.
No more will we bend the knee to a false yet seductive call for militant patriotism that only inspires the pride of this carnal life with its lusts of the old sin nature. All of that was crucified on the cross with Jesus Christ, and there it shall remain, for we have one purpose, and that is to humbly and compassionately cry out to our friends, family members and yes, our worst enemies, to join us at the foot of the cross of Jesus for cleansing and salvation from our sin nature.
We will no longer be moved and troubled by the call to a “holy and just war” against men and their religions or governments, for we know assuredly that our Lord is returning again “to make war” against his enemies who have consciously decided to reject him and his message according to Revelation 19. We know that only he is able to righteously judge among men, and will do so to the living and the dead at his second coming. This is the true meaning of “purpose-driven” which Rick Warren and his friends should adopt, don’t you think?
Many sincere and Godly friends have, over the years, asked me why New Testament Christians cannot participate in wars of their nations as the Jews did for Israel in the Old Testament, using Deuteronomy 20 as a reference. Like them, I have always understood that God’s work through Israel in the Old Testament included “just” wars against the enemies that lived in the land God gave to Abraham and his seed. He clearly commanded that in some cities everything that breathed was to be killed, for they were so evil in their ways. And other scriptures testify that giants like Goliath, and earlier the King of Og, who slept in a bed that was 18-20 feet long, occupied the land of Canaan. These hybrid giants were the result of fallen angels interbreeding with daughters of men, as was the case in the days of Noah in Genesis 6. It appears to me that these hybrids were, like their fallen angel fathers, beyond redemption and needed to be destroyed.
All of this warfare between Israel and her enemies was justified to preserve the integrity and distinction of the Jewish people in order to bring forth the Messiah, who must come as a sinless man in the lineage prophesied by the prophets and Moses. When this Messiah, our Lord Jesus Christ, came from Heaven to this planet offering his own blood as the atonement for the sin of all men, Jew and Gentile, the Old Testament just war between God and his human enemies led by Satan was put on hold, postponed, temporarily set aside, so that the wonderful gospel of love, compassion, mercy, and grace could be taken to the Gentiles, offering them citizenship in the Kingdom of Heaven, and warning them to flee the wrath of God to come.
All men, including the Old Testament Jews needed to know about this Savior who came to save them from their sin nature, which Paul said produced children of wrath and constant warfare. Please read Ephesians 2:1-7, for Paul says we were all following the “course” of this world system which we know is led by the fallen angels. God has temporarily allowed them to rule all nations, including America and its 1776 founders, until the second coming. When Jesus Christ returns he will resume his postponed judgment of the nations led by the final form of the Roman Empire, America and her European allies.
He will “make war” upon all of his human enemies at Armageddon that have been gathered in Israel by the Antichrist and False Prophet to fight against Jesus himself, thinking he is some alien or “other” worldly force coming to conquer the planet. This is clearly taught in Revelation 17:14 and 19:19 for those of you who think this sounds more like a science fiction movie script than prophetic truth. Our Lord will at that time cast Satan and his fallen friends into Hell for one-thousand years so they will no longer be able to seduce the nations. Knowing all of this should help you see the danger people are in as they follow the 2012 Mayan/New Age delusions designed by Satan to convince us to follow the coming Antichrist who proclaims to be the Christ.
As I said, we who have been resurrected and had our bodies glorified will be with him for this blood and guts battle, as we are called his “Army in Heaven” in Revelation 19. This is the only just war that we Christians should anticipate, and until that day we are to love our human enemies, offering them the blood of Jesus for the atonement of their sin nature.
Jesus said in the Sermon on the Mount that until he returns his disciples are not to live by the old saying of an eye for an eye, we are not to even resist evil men inspired by fallen angels to harm or kill us, Matthew 5:38-39. Jesus then teaches us that we are sent out among the Gentiles as sheep in the midst of wolves, being harmless as doves, knowing that if we are killed we will be resurrected when Jesus returns to resume his just war and finish his vengeance on all of his enemies, Matthew 10:16-23. We are taught to pick up our own cross, and love and bless those who hate us and the Lord Jesus. Read the words of Paul as he was teaching the Christians who lived in Thessalonica the truth about the second coming and our response to rejection and persecution:

11Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power: 12That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

As I have said countless times before, the scriptures teach us that the combined power of the bloody cross and second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, is the only “permanent” solution for stopping the death and destruction that men inflict upon one another to the sick delight of their fallen angel masters. Remember the words of the Lord….”I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me”, John 14:6.
God the Father indeed hates war and he rejoices not in the death of any person, knowing they will be sentenced to Hell forever if they die without knowing the Lord Jesus Christ. But because of his holy and just nature, his wrath will have to be poured out someday to separate the good from the evil, the faithful from the foolish, and the wheat from the tares. Does he enjoy doing this, no, but it must be done to preserve the faithful in his eternal Kingdom. All of the signs pointing to our Lord’s return are becoming clearer as each day passes. Will this coming year, 2012, be as decisive and definitive as the Mayan cult followers have proclaimed? These Mayan/New Age/Nostradamus/Freemason teachings are not of or from God, but a clear product of deception from Satan about the future of mankind on this earth.
Remember, Satan himself knows that our Lord Jesus is returning at the end of the age. He knows the signs of the times better than any unsaved religious man of any generation. He was flying through the skies when he witnessed the risen and glorified Savior he crucified ascending into the heavens, promising to return at the end of the age to set up his millennial Kingdom. The fallen angels heard this in their ears just as did the disciples of Jesus, and knew firsthand this meant their end being chained to the Bottomless Pit for one-thousand years, Revelation 20.
So don’t be seduced and lured into the trap of these distorted 2012 prophecies of the end times. If you seriously want to understand the what, when, how, where, who, and why to all of the “end times” conversations pray to the Lord Jesus Christ and have him teach you the truth from the book of Revelation. For when we learn prophetic truth from him directly we will not fall to the sensationalism, lies, and fears these false prophecies generate, as Jesus never separates his word of prophecy from his word of purity and power through his shed blood and glorious resurrection.
