The Wrath of the Lamb

The nations of this world system are soon to enter into the time of “The Great Perplexity” predicted by the Lord Jesus Christ in Luke 21:25. Confusion in political circles as to how peace and security can be attained among different religions is even now quite apparent. This will only intensify! The religious holy war mentality is taking root around the world, even in Christendom. Very few political leaders even dare acknowledge that religion is one of the core causes of today’s troubles for fear of intensifying the madness. None of them understand that Satan is their real enemy and the unseen power fomenting the rage. Islamic terrorists and their state sponsors of wrath like Iraq, Iran and Syria are, with each explosion, creating great hatred and calls for revenge and justice. The other Islamic political leaders are having great difficulty in heartily joining President Bush’s war on terrorism. As I wrote in the article, “The Plot to Destroy Israel,” September 11 was D-Day or the day of decision for the Islamic leaders. Mr. Bush is giving them time to make up their minds which side they are on before he makes any more regime changes. Likewise, the God of Israel is giving all of mankind time to make up their minds about the Lord Jesus Christ and his return as the King of Kings. World War III, the mother of all holy wars, will be waged with the God of Israel intervening supernaturally, thereby causing the nations to join together to fight against him. For those of you who think I’m crazy, keep reading.

The opening of the 6th Seal in Revelation 6: 15-17 declares……”And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains, And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him, and from the wrath of the lamb; For the great day of his wrath is come, and who shall be able to stand?”

The apostle John penned a phrase that Christendom desperately needs to understand. As John was receiving the vision of the opening of the 6th Seal, he also heard the voices of the world’s leaders crying out, “hide us from the wrath of the lamb.” Just recently the impact of that phrase rekindled a truth within me. Think about it for a moment. A lamb, which by nature, is essentially defenseless and harmless, is angered causing the great leaders of this world to cry out to mountains to hide them from his wrath. Jesus Christ is that lamb, who when he came the first time was harmless and defended not himself when they nailed him to that humiliating, hideous cross. By Jesus allowing himself to be killed reveals just how distorted and perverted man’s concept and understanding of God actually is. When God came down from Heaven to be with his people, his creation, we killed him!

Has most of Christendom been misrepresenting Jesus and his return to the people of the world? Do people think that Jesus was all about love and forgiveness and that he would never harm anyone, let alone send anyone to Hell forever? I receive letters almost every day from people who think just like that. They can’t fathom a Jesus who is anything but a lamb. They say the God they know would not ask us to forgive and love our enemies and then kill his own enemies and send them into eternal torment, thus making God a big hypocrite. My answer to them is simple. Jesus is described both as the lamb of God and the lion from the tribe of Judah. His word is a double edged sword; one edge is the love, mercy, and offer of forgiveness from sin by his shed blood on the cross; the other edge of the sword is the justice, wrath and condemnation for rejecting his grace and choosing a life of sin. He will not force one person to live with him and it is only right that at some point in time he must separate those who hate and reject him from those who love him. My friends, that day of separation and judgment is at the door. But, until that day, when Jesus returns in fiery judgment, his followers are to demonstrate the cross and loving edge of the sword, while warning the rebellious to flee the wrath to come from the other edge. Sadly, others in Christendom have isolated Islam as the face of the Antichrist, and are encouraging Christians to make war against them. By doing this they have polluted the bloody cross of Jesus, and have joined the holy war, thus becoming antichrist themselves.

When those days of Judgment come to a close the world leaders will finally understand that Jesus is also the judge of all men. But instead of crying out in sorrow and repentance, they try to flee from him, which means they still despise him and his ways. From where do they get such a phrase, “hide us from the wrath of the lamb?” Remember, the 6th Seal is a prophecy (as are the first five) of what is to come to pass during the time of God’s judgment. These Seals are opened and read to those who are in Heaven. When the 7th Seal is opened, then the prophecies of the 6 Seals begin to become reality on the Earth. The 6th Seal prophecy is fulfilled in the 7th Bowl judgment, which is at the end of Daniel’s 70th Week of 2520 days. God’s two Jewish prophets and 144,000 witnesses have already warned earth dwellers that Jesus , the sacrificial lamb of God, is alive and coming back with wrath and judgment. This is where the great leaders will pick up the phrase, “the wrath of the lamb.’ They will mock, scorn and kill the prophets.

For almost 1260 days of the 70th Week the American Antichrist has convinced the masses and all world leaders, that alien or extraterrestrial forces have invaded the Earth, and the main attack force is on its way, through the heavens, to Jerusalem. He has assembled the armies, with all their smart weapons, to make war against the final alien attempt to conquer the Earth. What happens to these world leaders that turns their pompous boasting into heart paralyzing fear? What has caused a terror, that no Islamic suicide bomber could ever dream of, that brings these men to their knees?

All the gospel writers make it very clear that as the final hours and days of the Great Tribulation draw to a close, the Earth will be plunged into darkness. This darkness will terrorize the world. They know someone is coming to take over this planet. As the descending Lord Jesus Christ and his armies from Heaven break the atmosphere, a great blinding lightning will instantly devour the darkness. CNN and MSNBC camera crews will zoom in on the great chariots of the Son of God, as he unleashes his angelic armies to destroy the armies assembled at Armageddon. The world’s leaders will then cry out in fear….”hide us from the wrath of the lamb.” The President and Pope who have brought the world to this climax will be taken and cast alive into the Lake of Fire in the sight of all survivors, Revelation 19:20. Satan and his fallen angels will be bound, gagged and imprisoned in the bottomless pit for 1000 years.

You know, Jesus said that we should not fear men, who can only kill our bodies, but fear God who can kill our bodies and send our souls to Hell. It is impossible for anyone to truly love God until they have first feared him. For the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. All of us, once we have grown and reached accountability for our sins, really deserve the wrath and punishment of God. We are a shameless, rebellious lot aren’t we? We have all crucified the Son of God. And yet, in these closing days leading up to the great separation of men, he is still offering his forgiveness and love. Once we receive that forgiveness, our fear of him becomes love, respect, admiration, and indescribable awe of his power and love. It’s real simple…..the God of Israel wants us to love him back. It’s our choice.
