March 2004 Comments

Dear Sir,

I would like to know why is the Jewish people “God’s Chosen
People?” When most don’t believe that Jesus was the Messiah. Jesus said
the only way to Heaven is to confess and through Him. I was stationed in
the Middle East and most believe in God, but does not believe He was
the Messiah and even Jews in this country don’t believe He was. But if
they are “God’s Chosen People”, then God is going to look after them.
The way I look at it if I don’t believe that Jesus is the Messiah,
then how can I be one of God’s chosen people?
Have a nice day.
God Bless Willie

Thanks Jack….

Some very good insights….I passed it on. Agree with your comments and excellent insights.
All of this is surely leading us to the AC and FP — “for when they say ‘peace and safety’ then sudden destruction befalls them…..”

The AC must be on the scene ready in the next months or so to “SIGN the PEACE TREATY”…. tho we know there will never be Peace until JESUS, the MASTER PEACEMAKER [the only possible one] COMES TO SET THE WORLD FREE after the Battle of Armageddon….and the Rapture, which precedes the Trib. It is all scary but WONDERFUL at the same time. I am really sick of this world tho…very sick!

Thanks for sharing, Kaye

Yes, I have a question. Why don’t you teach our Father’s Word instead of your word?

Keith
————————————————-

You state: “Even though the Jewish people have, as a whole, rejected Jesus as their Messiah, the promises and blessing of God remain on them.”

Obviously, you have chosen to ignore Christ’s own words given to Jeremiah about His promises not being binding upon Him, should those to whom they had been offered fail to appropriately honor him in return.

The only “Jew” comprising “Israel” nowadays is described in Romans 2:28 and 29, so you may as well get rid of the idea that ANY literal country in today’s world is especially reserved unto God; He concerns Himself ONLY with those whom are His in and from their hearts, and whom ultimately are serving Him with their entire beings.

While a large part of “Christianity” is focused on literal Israel, and upon the things of his world, far too few are properly focused upon God and Christ, who has created all things in six literal days, and rested on the seventh. For over six thousand years, man has been given the weekly Sabbath to share with Him as a time of rest from the drudgery of the world, yet very few choose to accept this rest, preferring instead to “do their own thing” on His holy day, and offer him a “substitute sabbath” instead, of their own fabrication, on the following day, as if man by his own works can make something holy, or somehow supercede God Himself in doing so. He has made only one day of any given week, into a holy day; it’s not Sunday, unless the seventh and last day of the week can also be its first day.

God speaks; we should all pay more attention to ALL of what He is saying, rather than making our own conclusions from just this part or that part. Jim

Thank you, Jack. I have read your heart through your words and it reads
well:) I am generally in agreement with you in so much…maybe only two
points I have to make, one of which I believe I have mentioned before:
1. When Jesus returns He will “rule and reign with a rod of iron”. We
will “rule and reign with a rod of iron” with Him. I am not so certain
that those words mean nicey-nice.
2. The Trinity:) A concept that God probably uses to keep the Jew’s
eyes blinded for a season. Ninety-nine percent of Christianity follows
the most damaging doctrine set forth by the Catholic Church and you think
that it’s “the one they got right”. “Hear, O Israel….” “The Son can
do nothing of Himself, the Father IN HIM, He doeth the works”.
Oh, well, I’ve been here a million times, Jack. It rarely does good
unless the Holy Spirit (that’s God the Father, manifested in acts in His
creation) wants it known. It will be!
I mean absolutely no offense, Jack, because I love your work and the
people you reach. I believe in the basic thrust of your argument
against Babylon and see it all too clearly. I’m just another Christian,
too often carnal, who is single-mindedly committed to God and His Word.
Sometimes we learn things that aren’t too popular or “acceptable”. I
can accept that. I pray that I do right with it.
Press on, brother!

I read your article about the downfall of Babylon. Before I comment on your theology I would like to respond to your statement about saying people get what they deserve and how Paul would never say that. I simply refer you to Romans chapter 1.

Now I would like to respond to your escatology. You say that revelation refers to an event still in the future. That the anti-christ and the tribulation is still to come. But as was mentioned by a previous respondant there are verses that taken in context clearly show that the return that Jesus was talking about was not his return to earth but coming to establish the Kingdom of God on earth.

The first verse is ‘Truly I say to you, there are some standing here who shall not taste of death until they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.’ The standard pre-trib explanation of this verse is that it was fulfilled, if not fully then partially, six days later when he was transfigured on the Mount. There are several problems with this interpretation. First nobody died in the time between Jesus’ uttering this statement and the transfiguration. Second, Jesus hadn’t left yet so he couldn’t be coming in his kingdom. Third, if his kingdom came at the transfiguration then how can we still be waiting for it today?

The second verse can be paraphrased like this. ‘You look around for physical signs of a physical kingdom, but I’m telling you the kingdom of God can not be seen with your eyes because the kingdom of God is within you.’ Jesus rebuked the religious leaders for looking for an earthly kingdom when the kingdom would be built on the lives of the redeemed.

Thirdly we have Jesus refering to the kingdom of God being like leaven, or a mustard seed. These things start off small but grow over time. Also in Daniel we see that the stone which struck the feet of the statue grew into a mountain which filled the entire earth. So too the kingdom of God would start off with just 12 men and would eventually fill the entire earth. Not suddenly in a moment, but over time.

Then finally Jesus says after his Matthew 24 discourse, ‘Truly I say to you, this generation shall not pass away until all these things are fulfilled.’ What things? The destruction of Jerusalem, the anti-christ, the tribulation etc. The pre-trib position is to say that it is the generation which sees the signs that shall not pass away but this convalutes the entire meaning of the statement. If Jesus had meant another generation other than that of who he was talking to, then he would have said ‘That generation’ but he did not. The normal reading of this verse is that the generation he was talking to would not pass away until all these thing come to pass.

You should really read the Bible in context. The Jews took the scriptures out of context and crucified their messiah.

I don’t know how you got my e-mail address. I went to your web-site and checked out your back ground and what you believe. I’m not interested in much of what you teach. Most Christians have a very immature attitude about who they are and who Christ is. Continue to grow in grace and truth and desire with all your heart to know Him as He is. He will in His time give you more revelation of these things as He writes His Laws on your heart. May the Lord bless your indeavors in this path.

Shalom child of GOD,
Many are called but few are chosen. I am called to the office of a Prophet and operate in all 9 gifts of KADOSH SPIRIT.
My suggestion to you is to pray to ABBA FATHER to see what HE has to say about USA and other things.
GOD is my life and I spend 24 hours with my brother YESHUA. I know what is coming and it makes me weep for the lost. I hear two words “SALVATION & HEALING”.

Hello Jack,
I agree with your article, but I’m not so utterly sure of the timing
of the rapture. I wish I could be completely convinced but I wonder if
God has purposely left the timing a bit ambiguous to keep us always
looking for His return, just in case! Focus is everything! At any
rate our job is to keep working while it is yet light and from the
sounds of some of the mail you get, there’s a lot more to do!
Keep up the great work brother, I just prayed for you.
In Christ, Gloria

Dear Jack Hook

Thanks for your message.

As you say what on earth is going on! Anti-Semitism is a strange spiritual
force. I was trying to get close lately to a Jewish Christian believer and
found that our back ground left us with many unsolved problems. For example
I asked why does the old testament say that we are not to plant our fields
with a mixture of crops? My purpose was to try to get at a Godly insight
into the reason for God’s law. I found that the person I was talking to
thought of me as trying to pick a quarrel. He said that I must keep to what
is worthwhile in conversation and not get involved in such difficulties! So
I am now not able to get near to my friend who seems to want to keep me at
arms length. Its an odd feeling for a fellow Christian. Yes we as
Christians have surely failed. There seems to be a general waiting for a
move although the gospel is still being preached in some countries with
conversions and new life in the Spirit.

Reading the old testament lately I was impressed by the fact that the Jews
have the right to the promised land if they keep to their side of the
covenant, that is a fear of God. They do not in that sense have a right
just because they are Jews. I have the book on Schvindler’s list so will be
immersed in the horror of what happened to the Jews, soon, but I should fear
least as being grafted in I too come under judgement.

I leave it there for the moment,

Your brother in Christ,

Aldred

Thank you, Jack. You speak to a number of things on my mind these days: the differing views that professing Christians have about the unfolding of events, the nature of worldly Israel, God’s plan for Israel, my own understanding of scripture, my own walk with the Lord and what distracts me from that walk. I’m grateful to have a relationship with Jesus Christ and I need his intervention in my life. Lord bless, Jack. Jim

Dear Jack,

Thank you for sharing your recently article. Like
you, in many ways, I am troubled by the, “Road Map to Peace,” as put forth by
President Bush. I am also troubled by the fact that though, with great ferver,
Mr. Bush went after the terrorists who attacked our Nation, and those that have
a history of using Chemical and Biological warfare tactics, that the chemical
warfare used on many of our preborn babies seems to be a much smaller priority
(though I know it is important) to our President.

Though I certainly believe that as a Nation, we will be judged for this
(though I pray God will be merciful to us), there are a few other things I
believe that are important to a balanced perspective on all of this.

First of all, though, as the Scriptures tell us as believers, “The
weapons of our warfare are not carnal…,” we are also told in Romans 13:3-4:

“For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou
then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have
praise of the same: For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do
that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he
is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.”

In other words, there are those that God has estabished as athorities and
rulers on the Earth, to bring the sword where the sword is needed. In my
opinion, it was not wrong for Mr. Bush to bring the sword upon Ossama, Saddam, or
any of their followers. At the same time however, unless more is done by Mr.
Bush to end abortion all together, I do believe that we as a nation will reap
the consiquences of that decision.

In closing, though again, I don’t agree with the, “Road Map,” I do
believe the Scripture which says, “Blessed are the peace makers…” I don’t falt Mr.
Bush for attempting to make peace in the Middle East. It’s easy for us to
look at this situation, not knowing all of what has gone on in closed door
meetings between Mr. Bush and the leaders of Israel, and say that the Road Map is
off base. As you suggested, maybe there is some secret plan behind this road
map. Maybe the purpose for the road map, is to show the world just how
impossible it is to establish a lasting peace with terrorist nations? Personally, I
think our focus as believers should be on preaching the Gospel, and standing up
for those that are innocently dying, such as the unborn in our nation, and in
the world. At this point, I’m reminded of Daniel and others who, because of
their faithfulness, worked their way into positions of authority and influence in
the midst of very corrupt Governments, and in so doing, touched many lives
for the Lord. Maybe, instead of publically speaking out against our President,
we should be seeking the Lord to bring us into positions where by we can become
trusted advisors to him?

Well, gotta run.

Shalom and blessings in Messiah Yeshua (Jesus in Hebrew)!
Richard

find it interesting no one considers The European Union as Gog, they are in the north also and the head is in Brussels. They are working on electing a “president”, who will be a puppet. They also seem to control the United Nations, for what it is worth. I resent you considering The United States as the great Satanist, when more pressure will be coming from Brussel’s “world court”. America can only be a player in the great scheme of things. I would venture to say that we are separate for a reason. When the middle east blows up America will still be here. We may be a decadent, dis-organized society but we are in no way a product of Satan. Inspite of the sovereign California Supreme court, this nation was built on the faith of Jehovah, Eloihiem, Jesus Christ, Yehousha etc. whatever you want to refer to him as. America will not be a puppet to the World Government of Europe. I think you ought to be looking in that direction rather than tearing down the American ideal. I think you are Satan’s emissary rather than Pres. Bush.

Dear Jack, I am a sinner saved by grace and respect your interpretation of different scriptures. I really think that the differing opinions
of the rapture, Israel, being a patriot is not the most important subject of scripture at all. Firstly we have to believe in the basic doctrines
that Jesus taught and Paul reiterating them afterwards in scripture. From Old Testament to New Testament we are taught that
We (the human race) are totally depraved (dead) cannot do anything to save ourselves. Therefore being dead we need someone to throw us a lifeline. This is followed by unconditional election. God in His Wisdom and Mercy decided that he would make
some people trophies of His Grace.(Rom 9). In Eternity God decided who He would save and wrote our Names in the Lamb’s
book of Life. Not that we should boast. It has nothing to do with us it is all of Grace.Christ did not die on the cross and shed
His precious blood for the whole of the human race. If this is so then Christ’s death on the cross was a failure. Then He
died hoping that we might in our good time decide to choose Him. No, Never. This is why Christ said “It is Finished”. The plan of
salvation was complete. Then God in due time sends His Holy Spirit to convict of sin those people whom Jesus died for. We
then realise that we are sinners, beg for mercy and are born of the Spirit. We cannot refuse or reject the work of the Spirit,
He who begins the good work will complete it. Then we are promised that no one will ever pluck us out of the Father’s hand.
We may be disobedient, backslide but as a father discipline’s his child so as christians we will also be disiplined. We have
assurance of our salvation because God has done it all. Praise God.
This is the message that we have to spread. We act as missionaries because we know that God’s sheep are out in the world
and will come to Him at the right time. Once saved always saved. I feel you are over emphasising the Prophetic side
of the scriptures. There have and always will be different opinions on prophecy.
What would be wonderful is daily scriptures of encouragement that we could turn to. Scriptures to encourge the
broken-hearted, the lonely, the seeking etc.
Thanks for the opportunity to state my view
Bevrley. Yours because I am His.

Jack Hook,

I pray you have time to read and respond. I’ve been on your email list for close (maybe more) to two years. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed your emails. My question!?
I’ve been a member of a fundamental Baptist church since my arrival back in the states (4years ago).
Though I’ve learned a lot and met several Bible believing people, I’ve notice something strange. We seem to have special rules and abide by some kind of policy, something you must learn and comply, to be totally accepted. I noticed this with the new arrivals and attendee’s that never come back. Now that I’ve backed off and approach our church as an outsider I am concerned. What do to know about the independent fundamental Baptist church? Please let me know when you get a chance. Thanks Jack may God Bless you!

Dear Jack, just wanted to let you know that God is not interested in a little piece of real estate on the Medittereanean Sea! His nation (true Israel)is the church of Jesus Christ to which you and I belong. NOWHERE in the New Testament does natural Israel Ever become the nation of God.Matt. 21:43 states definitively that the kingdom was taken away and given to a NATION(church)1 Peter2:9 says that we are the holy nation.(
How can anyone cheer a person who betrays their own authority, their own leader for thirty pieces of silver? {seems a piece of silver is now worth a million bucks}
Would these people protest if by monkey see, monkey do, some country decided to copy it and use it against our own country and its leaders or against our allies and their leaders? Aren’t we supposed to set a higher standard as self appointed leaders of the free world?

Many in the church are saying America is a christian country. Not sure it ever was.
Most of its founders seem to be deists to me. Certainly Franklin was, by his own admission. Smart guys, perhaps decent men, but unsaved for the most part so far as I can see. Not sure about Washington. I see quotes supposedly by him and others which seem to indicate allegiance to a Savior, but I have not been able to substaniate same for myself from original sources. The problem with seeing America as a country called by God to break off from England is this. Where in the Bible is a rebel ever considered a godly thing or rebellion a godly thing. Nowhere.

Then how can the American Rebellion {Revolution} be anything but a model for the bloodly and ungodly revolutions which soon followed? French, Russian, plus our many everyday rebellions which we justify in the name of something called good.

I read a little book called Yankee Doodle went to Church. Near the back, it mentioned a preacher called Jonathan Boucher, an Anglican. He preached against the coming rebellion, unlike most preachers of that day. For his trouble, the preached his last sermon with bible in one hand, gun in the other, for self protection. He had to leave the country to keep him life.

The book stated that church attendance fell off drastically after the revolution from what it had been before, at least until the Civil War. I wonder if the trend has continued, if one considers only true Christianity? Perhaps the fruit of this rebellion is still coming in, just like the fruit of the unjust war in Iraq may still be yet to be seen. I do not see how God can fight on the side of rebels whose leaders are unrepentant adulters in their high office, who encourage perversion and taking from the people while not lifting a finger to help create jobs which can build stable incomes and families for decent people. Judgment is certain for such idolatry and our higher court has now endorsed both baby killing and Sodomy, what’s next. Just because Saddam lost power and riches, doesn’t mean we won’t yet be sorry that we every heard the name of Iraq. The fathers and mothers of all those killed since the war officially ended already are perhaps sorry they ever heard of it.

Boucher said that a rebel is worse than the worst king or leader who ever lived. To me that is the biblical model. David wouldn’t lift a hand against the Lord’s annointed, Saul. Even though Saul deserved death for his behavior. That means none of us has the right to kill even a Hitler since all authority is there by God’s decree, and their authority is really God’s own authority. From what I’ve read, King George the III was a good and godly man. Most the colonists didn’t even drink tea, so the tax on such was a small matter. A rebel can always find something to incense him so to justify or rationalize his rebelling.
No wonder the king went mad, to see his beloved colonies dishonoring their king and all godly principles in such a way.

Well, I’ve rambled enough. There is a book by J. Boucher called thoughts on the American Revolution. It has a few good quotes which I have up on one of my many websites. Puzzling how so many preachers can miss the same truths the bible showed to me clearly such as Boucher preached to no avail.

This defense of marriage thing now before our leaders will fail to head off the Sodomy lobby and its many supporters including much of the media, because unless one is courageous enough to point to the Bible as the source of authority for marriage and being against the perversion of homosexuality, the other straw arguments will fail or be gotten around by the very clever operatives of the enemy of our souls.

God bless,
keep up your good work for Him,

See ya in Glory.

I was listening to The King is Coming today and their message was Baylon is Falling… In Rev. 17, it tells about a Mystery Babylon. Discusses where it will be, a city by 7 hills… Old Rome was known as the city of 7 hills, but the word mystery and the explanation of all the happenings, could mean more than one city…. Judgement is going to happen to the the United States, as we are not helping and backing Israel as we are to do and the Bible says judgement will come against any nation who does not defend all of Israel… Bush is working with the Palestines. Anyway, when the Rapture happens, Millions are going to be gone…The U S will be in a state of shock, the Europian Nations are going to have control of everything.. America will not be worth the effort will it? The Antichrist is going to come from the nations from the old Roman Empire and won’t the city he will govern from be in Rome?
What are your thoughts?

There was a time, were anyone to insinuate I might be a hypocrite or a heretic that I would have cursed them out & maybe even beat their head soft, Christian or no Christian; but I’m not like that any more. I know where I was, & I know where I am; & better still I know how I got from there to here. For the last 6 years of her life, my exwife was almost bedridden; & in that whole period of time I can count the Christians who called or visited her, or offered us any kind of help on one hand. I watched her cry sometimes @ night wondering why none of them cared about her. By the time she crossed over, I was really bitter & didn’t want anything to do with church people any more. Many was the night I stayed awake crying out ot God, wanting to understand how they could act the way they did, how they could be so carnal & uncaring. It was then that God began to deal with me about walking in the light; about allowing Him to fill my heart & life with His light & reveal my true spiritual state to me. I was a broken man once His light began to shine in my heart & life. I saw just how far I had drifted from the course He wanted my life to take. In the end, the anger & frustration began to leave, & I felt myself changing from the inside out. Not only did my attitude toward sin change, but my attitude toward sinners changed as well. I began to see not what they were doing, but why they were acting that way. I began to see not only myself as I truly was, but I began to see others that way. God looks beyond all of our faults to see our potential. He looks beyond our actions to see why we’re acting the way we are. What He desires for us is that we’ll allow Him to help us to see others the same way. When we do, our whole attitude toward them will be transformed. That’s why 1st John 1:7 is the verse I’ve chosen to live by.

reluctance to rejoin any particular denomination “church”.
I keep telling myself ; maybe I should go back to Sunday services, but there
is something inside me that holds me back.
Maybe in these times with all the different factions and lack of
unconditional love in many denominations my spirit cannot feel at peace.
I know I love Jesus and he loves me, I love his people and they are the real
Church.
I especially feel great compassion for the many people who are homeless,
there is one man who lives in Fremantle (WA”>By the way you never did write and tell me who killed the prophets AND saints in Rev. 18:24. I’ll tell you. It was 1st century Israel!! They were the only ones who could do so. Yours in Christ, JJ

Hi Jack,
Some very nice work on your website. Your latest article covers a very tough subject. Would I choose to suffer more so to witness to those who really don’t deserve any consideration? Wow! Its like Moses telling God to take his life unless He will show mercy to the rebellious ones wandering in the desert.

Like you said, I can mouth the words, but not sure my heart is yet in it.

Like everything else, prayer is the answer, for changing hearts and attitudes.

Haven’t read but several of your writings as yet. Will try to read more soon. I can see that we agree about psychobabble and prosperity idolatry luring many in the church into apostasy. It may be that some of our thoughts on extreme patriotism shown by some recently leads people away from Christ and biblical teachings.

I would consider myself a patriot and patriotism to be a good thing until I see it being used to get us into a war of agression. We call it a war of liberation, but still we were unattacked by the country which we invaded, and its leader who we deposed, call him a bad guy if you will, was still there as all leaders are, by the grace of God. I do not see any biblical authority for Mr. Bush, God love him, bribing people to murder or betray the sons or family of such leaders of other countries that have not attacked us or our allies.
It bothers me to see so many willing to back anything our conservative govt and president want to get us into. Stifling descent by others only leads to our leaders having “yes”men around them, a matter sure to bring destruction and woe.

How can anyone cheer a person who betrays their own authority, their own leader for thirty pieces of silver? {seems a piece of silver is now worth a million bucks}
Would these people protest if by monkey see, monkey do, some country decided to copy it and use it against our own country and its leaders or against our allies and their leaders? Aren’t we supposed to set a higher standard as self appointed leaders of the free world?

Dear Jack, I have just received your reply, it is 3.56 pm in Western
Australia. Thankyou for your friendship and kind words.
I noticed at the bottom of my email the words “that Jesus may return” ended
up on the wrong line but I guess you undersood my meaning.
The more I read from you and on other sites, the more I understand that my
reluctance to rejoin any particular denomination “church”.
Church.
I especially feel great compassion for the many people who are homeless,
there is one man who lives in Fremantle (WA) I would like to approach him,
but am not sure if this is wise, if I was a man it would be different. One
day I noticed how dirty his feet were and felt I would like to wash them,
however I did not as it may have implied dissaproval and not love. A couple
of weeks ago I was eating a bread roll for lunch at my local shopping centre
and a young man and woman spoke to me. They were asking for money for food,
I thought about coins but really felt I was go give them paper money. The
young man was so surprised and I felt so humble at his reaction. He then
asked would I mind if they went and asked some other people for money. Of
course I did not mind. I did enquire if they had any cooking facilities and
they replied they had a hotplate. I suggested they go to the supermarket for
food then they would be able to have more than one meal from the money I
hoped they would collect.
At this point in time we had one of our adult sons to support as he was
unemployed and I am not able to have a waged job. My husband was the only
wage earner at the time. I explained my son was unemployed, I often wish I
was wealthy so that I could make more of a difference to peoples lives. We
do give donations to charities, I would like to do more.
For years I have had a special place in my heart for homeless people. If I
was in better health and younger I would work in the mobile food van we have
in Fremantle. It supplies free hot soup and sandwiches I think.
I used to carry the weight of the world, until my doctor told me I could not
save the whole world. I wanted so much to do the Lords work for the unloved,
now I do what I can and leave the rest to the Lord.
I often wonder how people come to be homeless, I read one day that sometimes
mothers with babies are homeless. There are unused buildings that could be
made available, all over the world.
This letter started out to be 3 lines long!
God Bless You

Your website was interesting. I like to read ideas and oppions about President Bush and of course the middle east. I am an American woman. I have 3 teenagers and a four year old. My husband doesn’t make enough money as a welder to support us or pay our taxes. I have to work. I hate it. I want to be home with my 4 year old. My 15 year old is pregnant and needs me desparely. I feel life in America is hard. Sometimes listening to the health and wealth preachers gives me hope. It makes me think maybe there is a way out – if I could just give away more of my paycheck maybe my taxes would get paid. I know in the natural that sounds kooky but if it will turn my life around to where I can stay home with my child and be a mom then maybe I should try it. Lost in Ky

For many months I have faithfully read your letters an applied all of our Lord’s divine purposes found with in them, to my life and to those around me……………………..this is the first one I just had to respond to.

I have wondered of God’s purpose for me in this life ……………I am poor in material aspects but rich in faith. Many years ago I had a thought that, because of certain trials I’ve been through God’s plan for me must be a glorious one. However, still unsure, I continue my walk with him in still…………..anticipating faith……………..I wait. I used to and still do believe that my humility in this life is the workshop of Our King. I won’t go into all the projects HE has completed in me. It would take a novel……………..anyway I would like to bring you to my point. I have noticed that those around me, saved and unsaved alike walk through life on there own ambition most of the time……………strengths………and human efforts. I too am guilty of this but I have made phenominal progress. Or shall I say Jesus has……………..this is my thought ….One statement in your letter struck my deep into my soul……….with the events of our present time in mind I have often asked the Lord if it is possible that my trial and lessons or HIS projects………are to strenthen me for the moment when I am to be left behind to give my life for HIM. This is the first time I have heard of anyone speaking of such a selfless commission. Not sure if His plan is this for me but if given the choice I would stay and guide others.
Like I said………….I am amazed that someone made this statement. You must know that I have felt like this is my purpose for many years.
I can only pray that I too would someday qualify if only a bit to be among the modern day voices in the wilderness. Until that Glorious day Please pray for me that His will be revealed in me quickly. Cecilia

Great article, Jack. And so very true. The day is coming when America will be seen for what she is, and it won’t be pretty. All our technological wonders are little more than make-up on a whore. Our outward glory is imposing, but America is full of dead men’s bones. Small wonder that the world at large sees us as a great benefactor and crusader for peace in the Middle East, but that view is not based upon any Scriptural truth. It is based solely upon the reasonings of man. And if you take a quick glance through the gospels, you find that everywhere “they reasoned among themselves,” they were wrong. It is no less true today. But we are blessed to know the truth of these matters. For the world, it will be “like a thief in the night,” but we are sons of the day.

Keep the faith!
Bill

I have read some of the comments on your guest book, and have seen your humility in service, I know God does as well.

Jack, blessings to you. The countries of this world as you know are part of the many headed beast. America is tying the hands of Israel , I have been spending a great deal of effort trying to convince my Israeli friends to start building the temple again. The thought is known to many but because of finances etc.. they are afraid we will abandon them. It is time to trust the Lord. yes, Israel is still blessed but like all who seek God will be on their knees before Christ to obtain life. They are blessed because they know in their hearts that God does not condone the hatred and ways of men. This is the beginning of wisdom, that leads to the patience of the saints. A very difficult path to walk or crawl, but it is necessary to purge us and teach us obedience before His coming. Israel does not seek this war in their hearts and is not the people who start it, therefore they have been blessed again, but to say that God does not take sides is to say that God does not rule in rigtiousness. He certainly has called all who would hear to the wedding of the lamb, but some are not concerned for their souls. There are lessons in this world to learn, if not we know we would be in a heavenly realm, and anyone who looks knows better. America today is truly babylon as well as all other countries regardless of faith because God’s reality is not mans. He has allowed the lesson to continue in order to wait until the last moment for repentance and understanding of our foolishness and realise it is His way that frees us, not armies, etc…

Thanks for your messages as always,
I don’t know when I will be back online again , it may be a while as i have many things to do. If you do not hear from me for a good while know my prayers are with you. be strong my friend.

Blessings on your soul,

John

Dear Jack,

You may believe that the US is Babylon. Personally, I don’t care if it is. I’m a citizen of God’s kingdom first and the US second. I would rather live no where else on earth than here, even if it is Babylon. Eventually, when I die, I will be with the Lord Jesus Christ in Heaven as the KJ 1611 promises. Until then, I will continue to tell people about the great work that Jesus did on the cross at Calvery and that repenting of sins, asking him into your heart and believing on him will assure everlasting life.

I’m not sure why you are on this Babylon kick. I really see nothing wrong with being patriotic for your country hear on this earth as long as this doesn’t consume too much of your time. Then that would be idol worship in another form.

See you in Heaven,

Scott

Dear Jack

I am very surprise and delight for the courage you have to stand for Israel. The Lord promise Abraham to bless all those who will bless him, and curse all those who will curse him.

I am wondering why you are taking side for Israel, whereas all other people are deserting her.

You are not aware probably at why you feel and act that way. I will write you again as soon I have more time, and I will tell you the most incredible story ever.

This is something God has promise to do in latter days, but very few people are aware of.

It will change your life for ever.

Thank you again for support Israel.

Very good, well wriiten article/piece. I too believe in a “Pre-Trbulation Rapture” and thus receive much criticism, for my stance. I personally don’t know who the Antichrist is/will be or which country/place in the world he will come from. Bible scripture/s indicate to me he will be from the “Old Holy Roman Empire” area of the Mideast or maybe somewhere in Europe? (Small insignificant country/place that will eventually, through the help of the apostate church/believers become very powerful. (Comes as a man of peace but really is a man of war)

I am excited about our times, as some say but I am saddened by the apostasy and cruelty, of mankind. Many will not accept Jesus as their personal savior and thus will spend eternity in Hell (Prepared by God, as punishment for Satan and the fallen angels, originally). A lot of the apostate believers will no doubt accept the “Mark of the Beast” and be doomed to eternal Hell during the “Great Tribulation”.

May God pour out the former rain, latter rain and the “End Times” outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Jesus touch each and every heart, including mine, and send the Holy Spoirit to woo all of us to you or back to you, AMEN. Please place in all believers a new Spirit along with the renewing of our minds and the regerating our our Spirits, souls and “Glorified Bodies”. (God,et us all be bond servants, slaves and ambassadors for you, just like the Apostle Paul)

Let all that we do be for your praise, honor and glory God and to edify and exhort the body of “True Believers” and to carry the unmitigated, uncompromised Gospel of Jesus Christ, to the far reaching ends of the earth.

In Jesus Majesty and Gods’ Agqape Love,

Pastor Don

Dear Mr. Hook,

Thank you for invitation to view your website, which I have skimmed through.
I would humbly suggest you take a second look at what religion is the real
inheritor of the Babylonian system. For example, who are the people who weep
for Tammuz’s death each year? Who celebrates Tammuz’s birthday every
December 25? Who celebrates Tammuz’s mother’s—the virgin queen of
heaven—decent from heaven in a giant egg? Who paints “Easter eggs”,
symbolically carrying on the practice of coloring them with the blood of
sacrificed children? Who changed G-d’s Sabbath to the “honorable day of the
sun”? Who named the first day of the week “Sunday”? Who changed the Passover
Seder into the “Lords Table” to comply with pagan practice? Who changed
Passover to “Good Friday”? Who added the last few verses to the Gospel of
Mark in some codexes to have Jesus rise on Sunday? Who fiddled with Luke’s
passage referring to the second cup in many codexes so as to conform with
pagan practice? Who replaced G-d’s six hundred commandments with “keeping
them in ones heart” so as not to be “under the Law”? Who made the first day
of the week the “Lord’s Day”? etc. etc.

I suggest that it may be very hard for the adherents of this Babylonian
religion to recognize the mark of the Beast, and we know that many will be
fooled. As you know, this mark seems to be related to buying and selling. Do
the inheritors of the Babylonian religion remember what G-d’s commandments
are concerning buying and selling? If not, how will they know when they are
required to contravene them? Some of these Babylonians justify not keeping
the Law by having Jesus doing away with Torah and even breaking the Law!!!
Makes it easy to elect a gay bishop, I guess.

Why all this anti Torah in Babylonia? It is simple: anti Jewish. Read the
writings and teachings of the church fathers—2nd Cent on! Read the
writings of the so-called reformers! Martin Luther, Calvin etc. Read the
articles written by fundamentalist protestants who feign friendship with
Israel to receive a blessing! Although no so overtly expressed today, one
can look at the motives of Christian groups that expedite Alyia to Israel.
Simply put, they want Jews to return so that they may be destroyed in
Armageddon, ushering in the Messianic age with themselves as rulers over
Israel! This is not a true love for Israel, but one motivated out of
selfishness. Ask a Christian to worship G-d in a synagogue, as did Jesus and
1st C Christians, and watch the anti Semitism ooze! One would almost think
they had been asked to give alliance to Allah or Buddha. Ask a Christian to
help the Jewish people in Nazi Germany and all you get is a quote from
Martin Luther to justify their extermination.

If you worship the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and believe that “Jesus”
is both Messiah son of Josef and Messiah son of David, then I advise you to
COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM!

G-d bless,

Edwin

Loved your article on open heart surgery. The same thing happened to me, and by God’s incredible mercy and grace, I was healed in ways I didn’t even know I needed! In a way I think only a believer in God and the Lord Jesus Christ can understand, it ended up being the best thing that ever happened to me next to the new birth!

May the Lord bless you and keep you as we wait together for His return.

Dear Brother Jack,

Thank you for the e-mail and invitation to visit your web site. I did read a couple of your articles and your personal testimony. I am praising the Lord for your salvation. What a miracle the Lord performed for you and Sandy once everyone turned their back ( pretty much the whole city) to you and Sandy.

I will be reading some of your other articles. I hope that you are inspired by Eighth Day Assembly articles and the links to other inspiring ministries and articles of interest.

The Lord’s blessings,
