March 2011 Comments

Jack, thanks so much for this.  I wondered why I’ve had this feeling of brotherhood with Anabaptists all these years.  The reason is obvious; I am one.

Blessings, love, and MERRY CHRISTMAS to you and Carol,

Bernie

Dear Bernie,

Thanks for the reply which echoes my sentiments exactly.  The Anabaptists of old understood the truth of the bloody cross, the Lord’s resurrection and second coming.  Because of that they understood prophecy which tells us all nations are part of this world run be fallen angels until Jesus returns.  Both Catholic and Protestant militants persecuted them for their nonviolence and message of repentance.  Keep in touch.

Your brother in Jesus,
Jack

Hi Jack,

I also had a connection with them when I realized that my “baptism” as an infant was not what Scripture called for.  When I finally came to know the LORD as LORD, I was baptized by Paul Cedar, a solid Christian, in the Jordan river in Israel — a real privilege.

Blessings, Jack,

Bernie

Thank you Jack for forwarding this and I believe every word, but have found myself wondering if what I was reading should be taken literly as written or did it just apply to that time period when it was written, but as I read what brother  Clarence was saying it still applies to this day and age even though some people would find really it hard to forgive someone who comitted murder or raped a loved one. I don’t hate anyone even with what is going on in  Iraq and Afganistan and other countries where our military is at war. I didn’t hate my enemy in Vietnam. I just wanted to come back home alive and live a normal life which so many of my fellow veterans are not able or cannot because of what the war did to them. I was blessed and fortunate not through anything I did to come home and live a normal life, but that still did not leave my life unscathed because I was not living a Christ like life. I lost a daughter at childbirth and and 10 years later I lost my 11 year old daughter to a car accident. I didn’t blame God for these tragedies, but you can’t keep sinning or have sin in you life and not expect to pay somewhere down the line. I accepted Christ as a teenager and was accountable for my actions, but when into the military a few years later at 17 and in Vietnam at 18. So I never really grew spiritually but still prayed that God would watch over me. I had sin in my life, but God showed grace and mercy to me when I was undeserving. Like I said I was not unscathed. I came home and was able to resume a normal life, but when you continue to be disobiedent somewhere down the way you will pay for it. To this day I still make mistakes and I have to ask Jesus for forgiveness and for his guidence and direction for mylife. It’s very hard to try to walk that walk that Jesus talks about, but I try and ask for forgiveness where I fail.

Dear Jack,
As you continue to stand as a Godly-appointed watchman over the affairs that now plague our beloved country, our family and our friendships, I find you in the natural juxtaposition with carnal evil one who knows God’s truth you would be in.  After reading these many diverse “opinions of your writings” I can draw a direct parallel with my own efforts within my extremely small circle of friends and family; and I hurt although I do not marvel to discover that those self-same arguments against the things I do share exist therein.  I recall that Scripture teaches us well on the subject of how it must be when the pangs of the end times are upon us, and that is why I do not marvel.  I hurt at the rejection of my own convictions because I know that one day I must see the end result of a fruitlessness in what my tree has wrought.   It is wonderful, however, to recall also that it will fall upon each individual, not the father for the son’s sins nor visa versa, for their failure to accept Jesus and thereby gain the disdain of God our Father.  As we continue day by day to witness as we are allowed by others to witness we will one day be haply known as one of them “Bible thumpers” who just would not give up to the world’s whitewashing of the Holy Word of God.  I say to you, “Do not become weary in your God-appointed position of watchman regardless of the mundane and the ridiculous assaults upon your innate intelligence by those who claim to have the Light of God and then turn and insult you for proclaiming that truth….recall that the Word says a bit about having a sort of light that is indeed the darkness of deceit and human understanding, rooted in mankind’s reasoning.  For in him who has THAT light only darkness will be found in him (just a friendly reminder to inspire and give you renewed hope).
I believe that the impostor occupying the Oval Office and pretending to President of the United States will be brought to account at a higher level than any man in the history of this country when before God he one day appears and tries with all his ego-maniacal skills of oration to persuade God that he thought he was right and just in his destruction of this mighty country, and when asked of him by God why he brazenly stated to the world that America was never a Christian nation…see the man tremble as his oratory fails him and he can only mumble words of nothingness.  I voted against this demon-seed because I was able to see through his oratory and his gift of gab (they actually complimented one another….and yet hooked so very many patriots (so-called) into voting his way) and I tried to ignite in my family a standard of fidelity to the truth, from which the man Obama quite often deviated.  Here a few short years later those who disavowed my protestations then now come to me and seem to be echoing those words I once expressed to them before the damage was done.  I try to accommodate their ultimate acknowledgment they have seen the light of truth of my “political side” but still hold out against the source that gave me original light, my “spiritual side” – that side that declares Jesus Christ!
I spent three tours in Viet Nam myself, dear friend…..and to some am one of this country’s wounded warriors (a disable veteran), a person who came to the realization of God’s truths at a grand age of fifty and accepted unconditionally His saving grace.  Largely, in my youth I also rejected God’s plan because it did not fit well with what I wanted for my own life…. and that life, looking back, was a pitiful sham by comparison to what it might have been had I but surrendered my pride and ego to Him who alone has a thing to be proud of (but He is not a prideful or boastful Spirit, rather a humble and loving God who created me in His own image (and gave me a class “A” intellect to “reason together”….how can I ever lose sight of that?).  I cannot understand a world full of intellectuals who claim that He is otherwise, but I do understand the underlying, malevolent forces juxtaposed in spirit to all that God is, and I marvel at their acceptance of the preposterous promulgations of its hellish venues… those that set them above any others of us who are not like-minded.  If we be the feeble-minded then they will indeed become the inheritors of the earth; so, wholeheartedly, I join with you in the quest to continue in the spiritual warfare that all the wars the world has ever encountered pale by comparison to usher in the Kingdom of God, proclaim its validity before the ungodly, the traitors and the treasonous souls who, like Lucifer himself have reasoned incorrectly and in vain that they should exalt themselves above the throne of God and love the world they have created in chaos and tumult.  I stand with you, not behind you, as a brother in Christ.
Thank you for your example and thank you for allowing me to vent before him, the fallen angel, my concerns for his piteous future as the enemy of God.

 Verus

Thanks, Verus, for sharing or venting as you call it, your understanding of the times and your faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.  You are one more of a growing number of Vietnam veterans who have been awakened by God to love and warn this generation of the coming judgment.  Your kind and encouraging words are appreciated.  It is an honor to be your brother in Jesus.  Jack

Thank you and just know that you are ever before the Lord Jesus Christ in my fervent prayers…. your good health and success in reaching those with an ear to hear the truth; as you know all we can do is to plant a seed and water and only the power of God will raise up the good seed into fruition for His coming Kingdom – our numbers will grow regardless of the enemies sworn intent to the contrary.

AMAZING THIS RESPONSE TO YOUR INSIGHT. WOW. YOU HAVE DONE YOUR BEST TO SPEAK WITH THE OPEN MOUTH GOD GIVES TO THE PROPHETS. THE REST IS FOR THEM TO ASK GOD AND SEE IF WHAT YOU ARE SAYING IS TRUE. THEY ALL NEED A CLOSE RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD TO BE ABLE TO HEAR WHAT GOD SAYS TO HIS PEOPLE. IF HE IS TRULY THEIR GOD THEN HE WILL SPEAK TO THEM IF THEY ARE HIS PEOPLE.

I PRAY GOD SHIELD YOUR SPIRIT FROM ALL THE HATE AND FOUL INTENT IN THEIR HEARTS, THAT YOU WILL FIND IN THE MIDST OF THIS , PEOPLE WHO ARE OF LIKE MIND OF CHRIST AND ABLE TO WORK TILL HE COMES.

ONE WORD I GOT FROM GOD RECENTLY WAS ABOUT THE ARMY OF GOD….ARE WE AN ARMY OF MARTHAS OR AN ARMY OF MARYS? WE NEED A GOOD SHARE OF WORKING AND RESTING AT HIS FEET TO LISTEN AND TO KNOW WHEN TO DO EITHER.

BE ENCOURAGED THAT HE LOVES YOU AND THAT THE TRUE BODY LOVES YOU….KEEP UP THE GOOD FIGHT.

God has said. You will know that we are in the last days when you see the great falling away of the church. Well, it is here now!

Mr. Hook,
Thank you for this email, I am also a Manchu, serving in both HHC and C Co. in Iraq returning in August of 2010. I am now at Fort Carson, Colorado, but still have Manchu blood running through me. I appreciate the time, the stories, and the honor of knowing a little more about the Manchu’s that came before me.
Thank you Sir, a brother in Christ,

Hello Jack:  This article is very interesting in many respects.  What you wrote is Scripturally correct.  Anyone who denies that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh, meaning that He is Emanuel, God with us, is manifesting an anti christ spirit.  Whatever comes forth from people like that, that aligns itself with that spirit is not leading people toward the truth of God’s Word but rather away from it.

Emotions can be easily manipulated, and have been to subvert many by subtle deception.  My, who wouldn’t rise up to defend the honor of country, and men who have given their lives to defend us from the “enemy.”  Who wouldn’t go out to battle when the oppressor threatened the land.  That’s as American as apple pie and mom.

But we see in the book of Genesis that a major part of Eve’s temptation was her “desire” for the things carnal.  Great emotional appeal was bombarding her mind to influence her to react with emotion toward what she was beholding.  All her senses where ignited within and urging her to partake of what God told her was a tree that brought forth death.

The objective Word of God was cast aside by Eve.  God did not bombard her with counter compelling emotions to keep her from deciding to follow the deception that was before her.  He had given her his Word to live by, and to believe in, and He didn’t have to do any more to convince her that it was true.  Nor does He have to do this with us today.

We have God’s Word before us in the Bible.  His Word is truth.  Whatever comes to mind that tries to sway us away from that truth, no matter how it is packaged, and no matter how strong emotions are tied to it, spells out deception and a lie.  Such only comes from the father of lies, satan to destroy lives.

Humanism with its so called enlightenment, and the age of reason had a lot to do with the beliefs of many of the founding fathers of America and what they brought forth in the Declaration of Independence, and the Constitution.  These documents do not promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ, nor His Diety, nor freedom from bondage to the carnal sin nature. As you have pointed out, very emotionally inspirational things that have Chrstian over tones, can be in reality used to deceive and achieve ends that are never promoted by the Gospels or Jesus Christ, nor do they have anything to do with The Holy Spirit, or God the Father.

Where are we ever commanded to pick up arms and rebel with violence against established authority ?  While we are always to be light and salt in the earth, and to occupy till Jesus Christ comes, that does not translate into opposing with violence those who are blinded by the god of this world.

We are plainly told that the Kingdom of Jesus Christ is not of this world, for if it were, angels would not have let The King of Glory be crucified by sinful man.

A government of the people, by the people, and for the people can only spell disaster for carnal man.  What government of man could we ever expect to find leading us toward maturity and growth in Jesus Christ ?  What hope could we ever have for any lasting peace, and prosperity, and truth, in carnal man ?

As Christians, we can not impose or legislate morality on man and expect to create some utopia on earth.  In fact if the Bible is understood correctly, the law only incites man to more rebellion against God and law.  Man’s sin natue is in rebellion against God and moral law, his unregenerate nature demands it, and he is compelled to obey that nature having no other option while he remains in that state.

As long as we cling to any idol, be it in any form, we apostasize, and are given to the ways of carnality.  This will always oppose the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and not exalt it.

Our Hope as Christians is in Jesus Christ, and a heavenly home, where in dwelleth Righteousness.  This world is not our home.  The next appearing of Jesus Christ will be for His Church, to take them out of this world before the Great day of His Wrath.  We are not appointed to wrath but to Salvation in Jesus Christ.  The time of the Gentile Church Age is coming to a close very soon.  The 70th week of Daniel is Jewish in all its description.  We therefore see the 144,000 Jewish evangelist coming forth to preach The Gospel of the Kingdom of God.  The 1000 year reign of Jesus Christ on this earth to fulfill all the promises to Israel.

We will in the mean time do well to be admonished by the apostle John.  Little children, keep yourselves from idols.

God Bless, David

 Brother Jack,

I continue to be edified and enjoy your articles and thoughts.  Well put concerning “the battle hymn”.  I too have had the concern since being born again in 1970 after 4 years in the Marines which included Viet Nam.  If you have time you can see my brief thoughts on the song and issue on my website http://www.polyventurepublications.com/battlehymnofrepublic.htm.

Dear Jack,

I realize that the book of revelation is deeply symbolic, and as such is a source of fascination for me.

So who or what do you think  Babylon the great in Rev.17 symbolizes ? Also what about the seven headed ten horned wilb beast that she rides on in verse 3, and the many waters that she rules over in verse 1.

I would be interested in your thoughts on this please.

Best wishes

Steve

I have been trying to get caught up on my email.  I read this and I am very intrigued with your philosophies.  Your are definitely asking the same questions I am looking for answers for.    I am totally convinced that we are in a Holy War.   I would like to know more. I went to the website and will visit it again.  I am pressed for time.  Can I subscribe to your site?

Yes, I too served  during Vietnam, in the USN.  Thanks for your service.  Now take me off your mailing list & don’t send me anything else.

Name; Ed B…………..Charlie Co……..2/5 Cav. 1st Cavalry Division…. Viet Nam & Cambodia….1970-1971. We absolutely MUST remove this Islamist from the White House in 2012 in order to restore America to it’s former self that I remember during my formative years. Granted that our country can never be what it once was during the innocent 50s, but at least we will not be lead by those who openly were never proud of the United States prior to this last election, but are proud of having attended several flag burnings during their youthful days. I do not consider the current Presidency a leadership, but rather an occupation- and drastic mistake. Best regards,Ed B.
