That was an excellent post Jack. One of the things God has been impressing upon me of late, is that we are to love our enemies. Jesus taught this, even in the face of persecution, “Bless and do not curse,” He said. There is one thing that takes the terror out of terrorism and it is falling in love with God. When we do we love our enemies. There is nothing they can do to us to bring terror upon us. When we live in THAT kind of victory it will be them who are terrorized by the love of God in us.
Jack, I wanted to pass something by you. In 2003 God impressed upon me that He would reveal the mystery of the 7 thunders of Revelation. At that time He also said these would be specific judgments against the nations of Islam. My heart broke and I wept openly at this. I feel that while the world is going to come under great tribulation shortly, both the Jewish people and the people of Islam are going to be singled out for special plagues. This is not because God has something against them, but to drive them back to Him. Didn’t God say to Abraham, “I will bless them that bless thee, and curse them that curse thee”? Oddly we seem to limit this to Israel. Could it be that God is also including the children of Ishmael, also a son of Abraham, in this promise? Recently I began working on an endtime suspense novel entitled THE SEVEN TEARS OF GOD. I would appreciate any imput you might have as well (and especially) your prayers.

At first the teaching of Jesus was very direct and simple such as the Sermon on the Mount . Later He spoke in parables so some would not understand. In the one about the sower, the seed is the word, the field is the world, and the harvest is the end of all things.
The most symbolic book in all the Bible is Revelation. In 18:1-4, we are told that God`s people are in Babylon and are called out as Babylon falls. I wrote to Tim LaHaye about his literal position, and one of his assistants replied that Tim read the material but will stick with his belief that Babylon will be rebuilt on its old site and will become a city as large as New York in 3 1/2 years. Really now ?
In the ancient tongue Babylon means GATE OF GOD. In the Bible, Babel, Hebrew for Babylon, means CONFUSION . Babylon is a confused gate of God, relating to the time the people languages were confused. But before that, they were CONFUSED, thinking that they could get to heaven by building this tower which would reach there. A CONFUSE WAY TO HEAVEN.
To give a literal application to prophecy concerning Babylon is missing the mark by a country mile .
While Abraham and his descendants were promised the literal land in Palestine and Jerusalem, he looked for the New Jeruaslem that comes down from God out of heaven. Hebrews 11 .

Dear Jack,
I would have to take issue with the statement that Israel and America can defeat Syria and/or Iran militarily. Israel might be able to defend herself via military, as they are alledged to have some rather “out-of-this-world” defense mechanisms that have shown up rather supernaturally in the past, but also are said by some to have extremely technological defense/offense capabilities that no other nation on earth posesses.
America, on the other hand, has poked its finger in the eye of God, I believe, by dabbling in the internal affairs of Israel’s politics, blackmailing their leaders into doing things America’s way, etc., etc., and is ripe for judgement for doing so. America’s military and entire infrastructure, are extremely susceptible to EMP (electro-magnetic pulse) attack, which is what is given off in a nuclear detonation. An EMP blast from a nuke sends out a surge of electricity that is more powerful than a lightning strike. It contains more energy than the Hoover dam generates in 24 hours and completely destroys anything electronic in its path. Can’t happen to America you might say? Let’s consider a few things: 1. Saddam in Iraq in 1991 had SCUD missles mounted on mobile launchers on trucks; they were notoriously hard to find. They are relatively cheap; Iran most likely possesses some or has access to them. Syria may have also.
2. In the ’90’s most of Russia’s military assets were for sale on the black market, including nuclear submarines, with or without the missles! (There was a PBS show on about this subject concerning a South American drug lord looking for better ways to smuggle drugs to North America, via purchased Russian nuclear subs. He was caught, and the deal never went through, but he was asked by the seller if he wanted them with or without missles.) With nuclear weapons for sale some 10-15 years or so ago, if I had to bet on whether Iran had nukes or not, I would bet they ALREADY HAVE THEM! They have a shelf life of about 7 years and need to be reprocessed, but their good Russian buddies or someone else would be sure to help them out if they did not already have the technology themselves. Whether they did then or not, they certainly do now!
3. Al-Qaeda is known to own at least 80 ocean-going freighters; again, I think it would be a safe bet to believe that the nation of Iran owns several also. O.K., let’s put this all together: Iran, Syria, Al-Qaeda; all buddies in the common effort against U.S. DRIVE SCUDS or other missle type mounted on trucks into hold of ship, or several ships, (owned/operated by whoever, we don’t care!) on dark cloudy night when satellites can’t see, arm them, if they aren’t already, with nuclear warheads. If possible, while importing other goods to America, get to shore and launch as many scuds as possible into heartland of America. If not possible, launch from international waters. Detonate before American intercept missles get there, if they do at all, at as high an altitude as possible. EMP blast will follow the Earth’s atmosphere down and destroy EVERY electronic device in its path. No more electical grid, zero communications, most vehicles will not operate, as they all operate via computer! Our techno-driven military will be at a standstill, as will be all of America for YEARS, as it will take that long to recover, if we ever fully recover!
If one does not think this is being planned, consider that in spring/summer ’05, Iran was conducting military exercises detonating their new Shihab-3 ballistic missle (with several thousand km range) at high altitude. Their military called the experiments a SUCCESS, our intelligence organizations at the time called them a failure. (who’s the stupid one?!?!) This missle is far more advanced than the lowly SCUD, and is the one they were practicing with.
I would tend more toward the opinion/belief, based on the above facts, that America is about to be taken out of the game on a rather permanent note, and I am sad to say that WE DESERVE IT, as we now spread many times more filth of every kind in every media available than we ever did the Good News of our Living, Redeeming, Saving, JESUS CHRIST, Who purchased mankind at a horrible price, and for the most part seems to be spit on still for it! Dear Jack, I am very concerned, the Lord put a call on my life to become a preacher and I felt it was with a view to Wesleyan-Arminism, when I shared my views with my current pastor who is Calvinist I mentioned salvation and the eternal security doctrine and he said if you persistently sin without repenting you would die prematurely but you would still go to heaven as one escaping through flames, I am alarmed that such teaching. Can lead people to do what they want, I am having a difficult time sitting in church which is Pentecostal while hearing these sort of teachings, I start bible college in September to train in theology at a Wesleyan college, I do not know whether to wait or find another church now, your friend in the Lord, Paul. ————————————————–
Dear Sir, I wanted to take a moment to say thank you. Your interview with Zeph Daniel was riveting and a breath of fresh air. I love Brother Zeph but have never agreed with the ‘rapture is a lie theory’. You handled the ugliness thrown at you with grace and poise that comes from leaning on Jesus and The Holy Spirit.
I’m so sorry about the tone of the caller in the last few moments. It seems those that disagree with the reality of ‘the great catching away’ can’t be civil. I was ready with a couple of scriptures to answer his claims but alas also knew the time was not there for me to call in. Anyway, there are those of us who know what JESUS said in Matthew 24 and Revelation, HE meant. I’ve studied eschatology for almost 40 years and understand the different viewpoints, I have yet to be convinced Jesus didn’t mean JUST what HE said.
I wanted you to be encouraged that many of us listening could discern what was going on. We must be patient with all men for we know not what path the Lord might have for them. Some of us HE was quite clear might be found worthy of not being forced to live through the time of ‘judgements to fall upon the earth because of their rejection of HIM’. We will see this IF we cling to faith in Him and His Word regardless of what others say. I refer to the seven churches of Rev. 3. There are a few other little gems the Lord has shown me personally but I also know, the Lord has purpose in all things and we must learn to lean on His Wisdom and not our own.
Please be encouraged that what you spoke was beautifully presented and greatly anointed. Perhaps it was not received because some are just not ready to receive it? Some of us were greatly blessed and hope you will return to speak to those of us who understand.

Thanks so much for sharing with me your passion to minister to veterans. Both my grandfathers are veterans as was my great-grandfather. I know from their experience (none of them are Christians) war was extremely hard on them and left a lot of emotional scars that they blame God for. So I’m sure what you are doing is very helpful to these types of people.

In the ancient tongue Babylon means GATE OF GOD. In the Bible, Babel, Hebrew for Babylon, means CONFUSION . Babylon is a confused gate of God, relating to the time the people languages were confused. But before that, they were CONFUSED, thinking that they could get to heaven by building this tower which would reach there. A CONFUSE WAY TO HEAVEN.
To give a literal application to prophecy concerning Babylon is missing the mark by a country mile .
While Abraham and his descendants were promised the literal land in Palestine and Jerusalem, he looked for the New Jeruaslem that comes down from God out of heaven. Hebrews 11 .

Dear Jack,
I would have to take issue with the statement that Israel and America can defeat Syria and/or Iran militarily. Israel might be able to defend herself via military, as they are alledged to have some rather “out-of-this-world” defense mechanisms that have shown up rather supernaturally in the past, but also are said by some to have extremely technological defense/offense capabilities that no other nation on earth posesses.
America, on the other hand, has poked its finger in the eye of God, I believe, by dabbling in the internal affairs of Israel’s politics, blackmailing their leaders into doing things America’s way, etc., etc., and is ripe for judgement for doing so. America’s military and entire infrastructure, are extremely susceptible to EMP (electro-magnetic pulse) attack, which is what is given off in a nuclear detonation. An EMP blast from a nuke sends out a surge of electricity that is more powerful than a lightning strike. It contains more energy than the Hoover dam generates in 24 hours and completely destroys anything electronic in its path. Can’t happen to America you might say? Let’s consider a few things:
1. Saddam in Iraq in 1991 had SCUD missles mounted on mobile launchers on trucks; they were notoriously hard to find. They are relatively cheap; Iran most likely possesses some or has access to them. Syria may have also.
2. In the ’90’s most of Russia’s military assets were for sale on the black market, including nuclear submarines, with or without the missles! (There was a PBS show on about this subject concerning a South American drug lord looking for better ways to smuggle drugs to North America, via purchased Russian nuclear subs. He was caught, and the deal never went through, but he was asked by the seller if he wanted them with or without missles.) With nuclear weapons for sale some 10-15 years or so ago, if I had to bet on whether Iran had nukes or not, I would bet they ALREADY HAVE THEM! They have a shelf life of about 7 years and need to be reprocessed, but their good Russian buddies or someone else would be sure to help them out if they did not already have the technology themselves. Whether they did then or not, they certainly do now!
3. Al-Qaeda is known to own at least 80 ocean-going freighters; again, I think it would be a safe bet to believe that the nation of Iran owns several also. O.K., let’s put this all together: Iran, Syria, Al-Qaeda; all buddies in the common effort against U.S. DRIVE SCUDS or other missle type mounted on trucks into hold of ship, or several ships, (owned/operated by whoever, we don’t care!) on dark cloudy night when satellites can’t see, arm them, if they aren’t already, with nuclear warheads. If possible, while importing other goods to America, get to shore and launch as many scuds as possible into heartland of America. If not possible, launch from international waters. Detonate before American intercept missles get there, if they do at all, at as high an altitude as possible. EMP blast will follow the Earth’s atmosphere down and destroy EVERY electronic device in its path. No more electical grid, zero communications, most vehicles will not operate, as they all operate via computer! Our techno-driven military will be at a standstill, as will be all of America for YEARS, as it will take that long to recover, if we ever fully recover!
If one does not think this is being planned, consider that in spring/summer ’05, Iran was conducting military exercises detonating their new Shihab-3 ballistic missle (with several thousand km range) at high altitude. Their military called the experiments a SUCCESS, our intelligence organizations at the time called them a failure. (who’s the stupid one?!?!) This missle is far more advanced than the lowly SCUD, and is the one they were practicing with.
I would tend more toward the opinion/belief, based on the above facts, that America is about to be taken out of the game on a rather permanent note, and I am sad to say that WE DESERVE IT, as we now spread many times more filth of every kind in every media available than we ever did the Good News of our Living, Redeeming, Saving, JESUS CHRIST, Who purchased mankind at a horrible price, and for the most part seems to be spit on still for it!
Does this theory hold water??

Dear Jack, I am very concerned, the Lord put a call on my life to become a preacher and I felt it was with a view to Wesleyan-Arminism, when I shared my views with my current pastor who is Calvinist I mentioned salvation and the eternal security doctrine and he said if you persistently sin without repenting you would die prematurely but you would still go to heaven as one escaping through flames, I am alarmed that such teaching. Can lead people to do what they want, I am having a difficult time sitting in church which is Pentecostal while hearing these sort of teachings, I start bible college in September to train in theology at a Wesleyan college, I do not know whether to wait or find another church now, your friend in the Lord, Paul.

I wanted to take a moment to say thank you. Your interview with Zeph Daniel was riveting and a breath of fresh air. I love Brother Zeph but have never agreed with the ‘rapture is a lie theory’. You handled the ugliness thrown at you with grace and poise that comes from leaning on Jesus and The Holy Spirit.
I’m so sorry about the tone of the caller in the last few moments. It seems those that disagree with the reality of ‘the great catching away’ can’t be civil. I was ready with a couple of scriptures to answer his claims but alas also knew the time was not there for me to call in. Anyway, there are those of us who know what JESUS said in Matthew 24 and Revelation, HE meant. I’ve studied eschatology for almost 40 years and understand the different viewpoints, I have yet to be convinced Jesus didn’t mean JUST what HE said.
I wanted you to be encouraged that many of us listening could discern what was going on. We must be patient with all men for we know not what path the Lord might have for them. Some of us HE was quite clear might be found worthy of not being forced to live through the time of ‘judgements to fall upon the earth because of their rejection of HIM’. We will see this IF we cling to faith in Him and His Word regardless of what others say. I refer to the seven churches of Rev. 3. There are a few other little gems the Lord has shown me personally but I also know, the Lord has purpose in all things and we must learn to lean on His Wisdom and not our own.
Please be encouraged that what you spoke was beautifully presented and greatly anointed. Perhaps it was not received because some are just not ready to receive it? Some of us were greatly blessed and hope you will return to speak to those of us who understand.
You did the right thing by not arguing. The caller hasn’t read the book of James I guess. Anyway, bless you for your obedience because I know some people it blessed and I was one of them!

I have quite a dramatic amazing testimony of God’s grace myself which I am in the process of writing and when I get done I will send it to you. I read the article called something like “they wouldn’t receive the truth” I found that in your articles, the one’s I have had time to read are filled with grace and truth. This is a rare thing. Usually truth tellers have alot of legalism in their messages and grace preachers have hardly any conviction. You are a rare gem indeed. This was during non-war time and yes I saw more carnality there than I have ever witnessed in my life time. the scripture “work while it is day for the night comes” definatley applies to the military which I’m sure is one of satan’s first targets for complete and total infiltration by the anti-christ spirit. I know from their experience (none of them are Christians) war was extremely hard on them and left a lot of emotional scars that they blame God for.
